I like the color and thickness of the case. I have clear square frame Warby Parker goggles that I only need to use when driving at night. They will only fit in the case they came in (which is nice) if you fold it properly and tilt the frames up a bit, very carefully, with the full moon and a gentle breeze for good luck. OK, I'm just kidding. but seriously. Warby Parker's case is so tight that you can't just toss your glasses in without bending the frame. And I don't have a full 2 minutes to try and put my glasses in their case while driving. That's why I got this case. I would definitely NOT call this case "XL". I think my glasses are big, but I had larger glasses (like big glasses worn by older ladies) and very large, large glasses did NOT fit here. My glasses fit but are not flat. I have to sort of lower them vertically near the hinge where the body is widest. What is good. I can trade At least my frames don't bend. The case itself is very thick (wide), which sure helps with rounded lenses. You can even put a small microfiber cloth inside as it is narrow and deep. However, the length (near the hinge) isn't long enough to count as "XL" points, IMO. Also, the ends of the hinge area are narrowed inward, curved. So where you need the most space, things get tight. Overall quite good and a very nice design. However, if you have very large glasses (e.g., driver's sunglasses worn over giant elderly glasses), they won't work for you.
