I am most interested in stained glass and understand what it takes to make a stained glass lampshade. I know what it takes to assemble and solder such small pieces of glass. It is very good. I did notice that the glass is a bit thinner than I'm used to, but it reduces the weight of the finished product, so I think that's a plus. The only downside I see is the way the stained glass lampshade attaches to the wall mount with Phillips screws. It would be nice to have knurled screws instead of Phillips screws to attach the lampshade to the wall bracket. I contacted Chloe Lighting and they advised me to use an Edison style LED light bulb. . I chose a transparent LED, which is similar to a traditional warm white incandescent bulb with a color rendering of 2700K. This LED gives the lamp an attractive warm glow.
