Amazing smart watch!

I have previously used the original Pebble Smartwatch, TicWatch 2 from Kickstarter and TicKasa N1. This watch tops them all with its ease of use and features. To start off, other reviews mention an older generation processor, but that wasn't an issue for me. I did notice that the clock froze when I swiped through the screens when I first set it up, but it worked fine after setting it up. Switching on at a specific time and scrolling through the app list is always incredibly smooth. Flipping tiles from the main interface is also done without any issues. I am currently using the watch with an iPhone 12 Pro and it automatically connects to the phone and keeps showing notifications. NFC payment works without WiFi or connecting to a phone, where I just double tap the bottom right button and bring my wrist to the card scanner. Works like a charm and makes checking out even faster and easier than using Apple Pay on my phone. NFC payment requires a passcode, but since it only locks when removed from the wrist, it's not inconvenient. It was very secure, only having to enter the passcode once when on my wrist, and since it's a pattern, it wasn't particularly difficult to unlock. However, a notable downside to this watch is that the manual that came with the product doesn't cover all of the features. For example, one gesture I remembered from my TicWatch 2 was being able to close the screen with my palm to switch to the always-on display. This watch turns out to have this feature, but I haven't seen any mention of it in the watch's manual or manual. Another feature was that it automatically switched to a high-visibility, low-power LCD after removing it from my wrist and leaving it stationary for a while (if the always-on display was on). Without figuring it out firsthand, there doesn't seem to be any literature describing what this is as a function. In terms of looks, the watch uses a standard 22mm strap. The one that comes with the watch seems to be quite good, with comfy silicone on the inside and a leathery exterior. The watch's bezel shimmers quite nicely in the light, making the watch particularly expensive. It charges using a small charger with a very strong magnet and a couple of pins. The magnet can fix the charger at a distance of about one centimeter, which makes charging easier. Overall I think this watch works very well. It has a plethora of features that will delight any tech enthusiast.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best
