I received the reversible version of this belt. It is black on one side and dark silver on the other. I love it. It's very easy to tug on the tab and swap out the strap if you want to change up the look. This is ideal for travel. I can wear a belt to cover my black hiking boots and gray pants. I'm happy. I love the look of the ratchet strap without the plastic zip on one side. Of course, it's not as smooth or "fast" as a ratchet with such a mechanism. It's hardly uncomfortable. The metal buckle is stable and well made. That looks great. Why even consider anything made of plastic at this price point? I have the 34-42" waist version and I trim it. My waist is 34". Not sure why there is a lower size limit. Easily trimmed and still works fine. They cut off the end that goes in the buckle goes so that side is hidden.
