Review on πŸ’‘ Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB DDR4 3600 Desktop Memory - White: High-performance RAM for Masterful PC Power by Michael Wehrman

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Fantastic value. for Intel at least

TL;DR - Excellent quality, decent overclocking tuning - CPU: i5 8600k @ 5GHz (1.35v); Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming M5. It installs like any other RAM and fills all the DDR4 slots on my motherboard with single-sided (peer-to-peer) sticks. This enables the use of two-channel interleaved mode, which can improve performance. I enabled the XMP profile and set the VCCIO (1.15V) and VCCSA (1.20V) voltages manually as my motherboard raises them too high when left on Auto. The RAM effortlessly reached its advertised 3200MHz, 16-18-18 speeds and timings. Eager to see how far I could take them, I settled on 3800MHz on 18-20-20. This not only increased the memory bandwidth by 18%, but also reduced the latency despite the higher tCL (18/3800 MHz = 9.47 ns vs. 16/3200 MHz = 10 ns). Running 8GBx4 at this price point at 3800MHz CL18 is a bargain. Mine came with Micron D die D9TZV memory chips. Please note that these are single-sided (ordered) flash drives, so filling all channels allows for both dual-channel and rank interleaving for better performance. This can also be achieved with two double-sided (dual-rank) chips,

Pros
