Compared with the Canon 500D, Nikon D3100 liked the quality of photography and camera control much more, although it is not without flaws that are absent in the Canon 500D.

3) Affordable price
4) Good video quality, FullHD
5) Low noise at high ISO
6) Excellent color reproduction
7) Good whale lens, I use 18-105
Has cons:
1) No built-in autofocus motor
2) No exposure bracketing
3) Small grip, especially for a man's hand. Although you can get used to it.
4) Low screen resolution
5) Lack of the ability to connect a wireless remote control, only a wired cable
