For now the product is working as expected. Very easy to install and because I can place it lower than what the manufacturer of my 2016 Smart machine intended (which I gave up) I now actually see all the cars behind me like they should. Shame on Mercedes Benz for a useless safety feature and numerous complaints from customers who simply refuse to address the issue, forcing me to sue them. I think now we know what their slogan "Better or Nothing" means: Nothing! Thank you for helping me finally make my trip safer even if I couldn't get rid of the ugly old rearview mirror cover.
