Two stars because it's pretty easy to assemble and the picture is ok. But the app (or maybe the camera) is missing a key feature that makes it useless for me because I bought it to monitor my house remotely when my kid is around with a nanny. I wrote to Faleemi support regarding this and received no response. They promote their Facebook page, but messages from customers who have problems go unanswered. For privacy, reliability and performance reasons I would like to connect to the camera remotely but without DDNS. DDNS activation forwards video through third-party servers where the video can be stored and made available to other people. I wouldn't mind if the camera filmed outside of my house, but I have problems with it in my child's bedroom. That's why I set up a secure connection with my other cameras to my router, which forwards the connection (with port forwarding) from my app to the camera. I have done this many times with other IP cameras by configuring my router to always assign the same IP addresses to my IP cameras and by setting up port forwarding on my router. But the Faleemi app doesn't allow me to add a camera by specifying the camera's IP address and port number. We need to enter the camera ID or use the sound wave technology next to the camera to set it up. When I connect to the camera via a web browser, I'm using a Mac and the only plugin Faleemi has for video streaming is for Microsoft. I emailed them to ask for a way to connect directly to the camera's IP address and port id to view and listen, but got no response. It sucks. If a company wants to stay alive, it is better to serve its customers. They must also offer basic functions, e.g. B. Allow users to connect by IP address and port ID. I am very disappointed and am sending the camera back.
