Not what I expected. Someone wrote that he smelled like "new skin". Although it has a slightly leathery smell, it's more of a clinical odor neutralizer with a hint of fresh leather. Definitely NOT that new car taste. If you don't need to get rid of previous smells or don't need an "odor neutralizer," use a regular fragrance spray. Odor neutralizers seem to have a background clinical odor (think hospital) - Yes, there is that skin odor, but it's somewhat clinical. However, it's a good thing the spray isn't as pungent as Ozium's That New Car Scent. First time use so it doesn't irritate my eyes/nose/throat like Ozium - When I use Ozium I have to get out of the car for a few minutes, but Trinova "New Car Smell" doesn't. The bad news (for Trinova) is that I prefer the long-lasting Ozium scent. Whether packaging, leakage protection or anything else - no problem, everything is 5 stars. I just don't like the smell of Trinova's new car fragrance.
