Made in America and of high quality. We have never had an oil bell and this is what convinced us to use it. We live in the desert of the southwest and in the summer it gets too hot to be without oil. This oil pan works well in hot weather with and without the air conditioner on, away from hot closets and where air can flow around them. With a bell we can keep the oil spreadable and perfect in texture. We use cold water straight from the fridge and refresh it every few days. Using a spoon, we pour the oil into the cap so that all air pockets come out. Very important. It takes a little time to soften the butter and put it in a bowl, but the butter is worth it. The bell looks beautiful on the table and on the kitchen worktop.
