Of the eight in this set I have three in the same colour. Three blue, two orange, two purple and one blue. I would like a better assortment but the twins are one so obviously they don't care. The rest is good. As for durability, I've been using them in pediatric OT for about a decade and that's what they are. They're not meant to last forever, so they're cheap. There is no brand that is not the same. They will not last forever in their original form without changing the nature of the toy. This does not mean being a toy that can never be replaced. Think of it more like a pack of balloons. You don't expect a cylinder to last five years. It's the same concept here.
