Powerful motor, 2 batteries. Also a piece that allows you to connect the cable. This is a durable pen that is easy to use. It comes with multiple cartridges but I buy more and I like the low count needles. 12 is perfect for me as I am 45 and my skin needs all the help it can get. I keep recommending it as I love mine so much. I use it about once a month (every 5-6 weeks) skin numbness or not, the effect is great either way. I highly recommend trying several times without numbing the skin to get a good feel.
