Review on BEVA Power Strip Tower Surge Protector with 9 AC Outlets, 4 USB Ports, Switch Control, 900 Joules, 6ft Extension Cord - Desktop Charging Station for Office, Home, and Dorm Room (Black) by Michael Rasberry

I really liked the design of this socket strip/tower in my use. It offers a large number of conventional sockets (9) in a convenient location and 4 USB sockets. While USB ports don't offer fast charging for phones that support it, you can easily use the fast charging adapter that comes with your phone if you need to. I also found the extension cord was long enough without adding too much extra cord (probably 1-2 feet more than I needed). My only minor criticism is that the indicator showing the device is on is not in an obvious light. Location. Instead of being on or near the power button on the top of the device (which has excellent tactile sensitivity, by the way), there's a small light just above the USB ports that lights up when the device has power. It wasn't the most obvious place to look and I think it would be better if it was built into the power button.
