Good Peppermint Lotion, But Not as Cooling as I Would Like

It's been years since I have used the Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot lotion. I've been trying various brands of peppermint lotions and most have not been cooling enough for me. I had fond memories of this lotion being very strong in the cooling department. The bottle has changed over the years. I'm not sure if the formula is the same or not, but overall, it's not as strong a peppermint lotion as I remembered. It's difficult to dispense the lotion when it's half full or less. The lotion is an adequate thickness and absorbs easily. It does have a cooling effect, but it's not as strong as I would prefer. It's a good lotion, but I think that Burts Bees peppermint foot lotion is a stronger mint.

Pros
  • Naturally cooling: Made with peppermint essential oil from freshly picked peppermint leaves, its natural menthol gives it a loving, cooling feeling on skin
Cons
  • Not recommended for use on open wounds or cuts
