Review on Korky 2011BP Hinge Flapper for Kohler Toilet Repairs 🚽 - Made in USA, Replaces Kohler Parts 84995 and 1000490 by Marquel Rubio

I have been using these corks for the 3386 Rialto color for 20 years. Due to the high concentration of chloride in my Florida water and the fact that I don't go there for up to 6 months each year, I change them annually. They always worked well until this last batch. We couldn't reach the toilet flush until we held the handle down a bit. Tried to set it up - no luck. When comparing it to the old one, I noticed that the rubber is thicker and the head is a bit smaller. Both of these changes help reduce the amount of air in the damper and reduce floatability. So you have to hold onto the grip to keep the damper from falling back. I bought in March 2020. I recommend refraining from purchases after this date. Who knows when this will be fixed, if ever. My 2 stars for difficulty of installation is due to Kohler's poor design. Corky has to live with this design, so there's no problem with them.
