I usually wash my platinum diamond ring with Dawn dish soap. It worked well enough, but I noticed that it didn't reflect the light as much as it used to. I bought this which was great value for money. You only need a small, pea-sized amount to last a long time. I rubbed the ring with it and it's like new! So many colors are reflected in it. I fell in love with my ring all over again. I will never go back to dish soap now that I know it can shine with this material. Will definitely always have it handy
