Interesting little speaker. It charged quickly, maybe an hour for my first use. I'll address the sound first. I connected it to my Fiio X3 and it was surprisingly clear. I was pleased with how accurately it reproduces the music, although the bass certainly won't shake the house. This would be a great little travel speaker. And now a little about the curiosities. It took about a minute for the audio to be heard over the auxiliary cable. The instructions are strictly in hieroglyphs, without words, and essentially useless. The charging cable is located under the rubber cover on the bottom of the device. This lid and the lid through which the cord goes are very tight; I was afraid I would rip them open by opening them. The power cord comes with a nice little sleeve, but I'll probably throw it in so both cords fit in the base. A nice touch is the webbing that easily attaches to the carabiner. All in all a good sounding and pretty speaker that I can recommend.
