Suitable for running.
Reference: I'm 6180 tall with a 33" waist. I ordered a large size. the lower part reaches up to my ankle (actually a bit higher). They are snug enough that your legs need to rise when you sit down and lower when you stand up. The hips are ok and the waist is a little loose but the laces work well. Love the fabric but the fit isn't great so they will be back.
