I always buy electronic products from Anker because I always get good quality. However, this was the first lemon I received from Anker. This extra cable didn't work properly. I plugged it in and got a static muffled noise and a squeak. I tried removing the case from the phone thinking I had a bad contact but no luck. I then tried multiple additional ports and multiple devices to no avail. This cable just didn't work properly. To add the icing on the cake, I complied with the return process and to my great surprise this cable is "non-refundable". Luckily, Revain is legit and was willing to give me my money back. The cable fell into the garbage can. I won't sign up for the $8 cable on Anker, but beware, there are quite a few reviews from people having the same issue with this particular cable. I went ahead and bought another brand of extra cable to replace this one.
