Review on πŸ‹οΈ Mcdavid Knee Brace Support & Compression Sleeve: Enhancing Knee Stability, Tendon Support, & Pain Relief for Moderate Injuries by Vladimir Castillo

Your knees will feel supported, be careful if you are close to a size larger.

I've been using the corset for a few weeks now. A little background: I tore my cruciate ligament 7 years ago and had it replaced less than a year ago. So I went back to normal activities a few months ago and am now back to martial arts 2-3 days a week. I was looking for something that could offer a little protection and peace of mind. Overall it looks like a good fit for a neoprene bandage. It's a little longer than some of the other braces I've had in the past and I love it about it. The crossed elastic band does its job well and provides compression in all the right places. The pictures don't show it very well, but the 4 crossed straps attach with velcro under the top and bottom attachment straps. This seems like a good thing as it can help control the amount of compression you want just above and below the knee. When I wear it, I hardly notice it. Sure, it's a bit big, but it doesn't stick out, the velcro seems to be the best I've seen on a brace so far, and it's never snagged or pinched. It stays in place for all activities. Even after serious training, he still looks strong and ready for the next round. The only downside I can name is maybe the size, I ordered a large and measured my knee and even my calf to make sure it wouldn't sag. I ended up with 16 for the entire area I thought the braces would cover. It fits but definitely offers compression. I can't say how much. Most days I can put the brace on with a simple pull, but it can be difficult to take off. If my knee was a little bigger I would definitely need an XL size. I'm thinking of getting a second one for the other knee and I might go with the XL instead and compare the two before deciding what to do. I hope the neoprene wears out a bit but for now it's still strong and feels very durable. Also, it's still a neoprene bandage that probably won't protect you from a hard hit or twist, but hopefully it will help with everyday things. The side supports don't seem to add much volume, but they don't offer much support either. I've had others with flexible braces and they at least seemed to be more visible once they got to the knee. Although it's hard to say. As for the neoprene knee wrap, this is the best I've tried (7-8). This type of brace may be overkill for those who have not had knee problems or for those who play lighter sports. However, if you have had problems or are worried about problems, these braces could be good for you.
