Why is the left shoe larger than the right? My left foot is half a size larger than my right, but when seated I can get my left index finger between my heel and the inside of my left shoe, but not with my right shoe. This gap explains why the left heel tends to slide up and out as you walk. It's a 10.5M, made in Mexico, it fits better than the Vietnamese equivalent Florsheim, but not goalies. It's a shame because they REALLY look good. The sole measures 11-13/16 inches from tip to tip for the LEFT boot and exactly 12 inches for the RIGHT boot. Hm? Sounds crazy, but the roulette wheel doesn't lie. Something went wrong when the sole and upper came together. I have ordered another pair in case there is an occasional poor fit. The second pair fit much better, but 2 bruises on the left leg let me pass. Unlined inside, feels a bit rough in socks. It's a shame because the construction is solid and they look very nice.
