The main reason for purchasing was to use Cosori mug warmers for my cup warmer and I couldn't be happier. I used to set the temperature to 190 and used the silver dollar underneath my mug to transfer the heat through the air gap created by the bulbous bottom of my regular mug. With a flat bottom, I set the temperature at 150 and keep my coffee nice and drinkable for as long as I like. For some reason they seem to form a more permanent stain compared to my old mug. The finish looks high quality, but there should be microscopic indentations that allow the coffee oils to solidify. After 3-4 days of use, a plaque will appear on them depending on the brand of coffee used. Soaking them overnight with a regular denture cleaning tablet cleans them fairly well. I might wash my mug at the end of each day, which would require a lifestyle change I'm not ready for. (laughs) I was actually going to deduct a star for the stains, but my main reason I bought them was to use them with my coffee warmer, and they do their job perfectly. I would buy another camper kit without hesitation.
