The main reason for purchasing was to use Cosori mug warmers for my cup warmer and I couldn't be happier. I used to set the temperature to 190 and used the silver dollar underneath my mug to transfer the heat through the air gap created by the bulbous bottom of my regular mug. With a flat bottom, I set the temperature at 150 and keep my coffee nice and drinkable for as long as I like. For some reason they seem to form a more permanent stain compared to my old mug.
