*** To update. I used cheap Rockbros flat pedals and have since switched to One Up Composite pedals and they are way better than the pedals. Etni stick much better. This is my first year on flat pedals. In the clip since the 90s. I only had her and Ride Concepts Livewire. I like their fit better than the Livewire even though they are 1/2 size smaller (Livewire is 1/2 to full size). 9.5 is perfect for my 9 feet. Very convenient. In terms of traction, I think the rubber itself is grippy, but the tread pattern holds it back a bit. They have shallow narrow sloping long grooves and I don't think this is the best design for attaching pedal bolts. They definitely did a little more than Ride Concepts. But it also made it very easy to make small adjustments or put them back in if they became loose. I keep them because they fit so well and are comfortable. They were easy and comfortable to walk on, but stiff to pedal. The laces are very long.
