Bought for the new iPad 8th version for our 8 year old daughter, she's been using it for about a month now and it's going great. Super shiny and girly. The protection around the screen is perfect, although it stands out against any screen protector we've put on it (I used tempered glass first and then switched to frosted), which is annoying. She has a stylus which we also bought from Revain and it fits well and can be removed from the slots on the back (which I noticed recently when looking at other Revain cases!). Access to all ports and buttons, and he shows the back of her gold iPad, which is nice as we always feel cases hide our tech ;) This case may take up more space than a triple case, but it is easier to manipulate and more durable for her age and when playing Roblox. or with an iPad for learning. I found a few ways to reduce the footprint (see photo). but she is 8 and she doesn't do them! I wish if you put the lid all the way back (e.g. for reading) it stays on instead of dangling, when you twist the tab back it kind of works, but the magnetic attraction isn't strong. Another thing is that if the surface that the iPad sits on isn't completely clean, the inside of the case will get dirty, and this is the part that touches the screen when it's closed. The magnetic force when using the slots holds up well although it flexes a little when you lift it because there is a crease there and if you shake it it tears. The case adds weight to the iPad but is actually reassuring when the iPad belongs to a child! Great case that offers protection and looks good!
