We have a motley collection of used bikes that I bought for our family. This little cyclist warning bell is just what we need. This is the simplest device that produces a very loud, detectable "ringing" that is instantly recognized by a person or animal. It requires no batteries and attaches to any bicycle handlebar. In this day and age of all things electronic, it's very nice to have a simple mechanical device that works day and night, in all weathers, and without batteries or an external power supply, without the force needed to hit a hammer.
