My 105lb Dogue de Bordeaux (he's small lol) goes through 3-4 leashes a year. He catches her. I used this red/orange 30 foot cord, which seemed to last longer than others I've tried, but after going through two of these in a relatively short amount of time, I searched "indestructible dog leash" and found this one puppies found. In the past, those twisted steel cables broke relatively quickly, but this one holds up. I'll let you know if/when he finally pulls through. If he lasts more than 4 months, I consider him a winner. It should be noted that the price is quite reasonable. July 25, 2013: This leash still works, although it shows signs of wear.
