I am straight (4c) and have never been able to dry my hair myself without it taking forever and with unsatisfactory results. With this brush I completely straightened my hair in about 25 minutes. I rinsed out a deep conditioner and dried straight hair in 30 minutes. After that, straightening took another 25-30 minutes. It's unheard of that I can go from wet hair to curls in an hour.
