Review on 🐶 Receiver Collar for PetSafe Wireless Pet Containment System by Jessica Sanders

Well I have a Petsafe Wireless system and have been using it for years with no problems. I had to buy this collar because we inherited a new dog. The instructions were weak at best, but we were able to google the parts that weren't well explained and we were able to tweak them. I have a Dutch Shepherd on this collar and because he is new to 'open space' we set the setting to 5 because any value below 4 would have him running right over the fence. This wasn't the problem, but to a small extent. the inconveniences of learning and some trial and error. The real problem is that she was shocked several times before reaching her limit where our other dog could go further with her collar (using the same box). But now it's so bad and contradictory that she's lying in shock in our living room, just a few feet from the box. We can't keep her collar inside anymore, and sometimes when she's outside she's afraid to leave the porch because she's had so many fake shocks that she didn't trust her limits. I can't put another collar on her because it's already tailored for our other dog who has been wearing it for years. We missed our return window for two days so now I have to call the warranty number and ask for a replacement. Such a shame as our other collar never had a single problem.
