I am an auxiliary police officer and find that in the winter, I get colder than I used to when outside. I hate bulky clothes so compression shirts and pants allow me to have a layer without all the bulk. This shirt is okay. It is a little smaller than other compression shirts I have had of the same tag size so I find it a little more uncomfortable for a short time than the others. As for warmth, I wear so many layers that it is hard to say if this does the job or not but I would like to think that its warmer than just having a regular t shirt. One annoying issue with this shirt is that the waist area rides up easily. I am an athletically built guy and find that when I am done with my shift and taking off my stuff, this shirt has ridden up to near my belly button. I feel it happening but with all of the gear on, am unable to do much about it. One of my other brands overcomes that by adding a little rubber ring around the lower portion of the shirt which prevents it from slipping upward. Other than that, it is comfortable enough fabric and accomplishes the task of helping to keep me warm.
