From the very first one I used, the heat shrink tubing had an open hole when you started heating it to shrink right where you had crimped it. I had to attach high quality heat shrink tubing to make it waterproof. Too bad that would be a nice kit if it wasn't for the cheap chinese junk I guess you get what you pay for.
