It's smaller than I thought. Perfect for personal items (purse contents, ID card); light and comfortable to wear. A small fleece cape will not work; he is too small for that. I think this will loosen and possibly tear the stitching. This can be normal as my knee pad is small and light. I won't test it to find out.
