Great for the price and works for heavy hammering.

I like that the edges are chamfered and not just a sharp corner. The working surfaces have been milled down somewhat smooth but they still leave faint marks on soft metals like copper. I use this block to shape and a chrome mirror finished one to knock those faint marks off. This works great and keeps the chrome finish from getting chipped up so fast.

Delivered on time, nice and smooth, prefect weight and size for hammering jewelry! Love it!

Cons

Some users have reported that the surface of the anvil can be difficult to clean, particularly if ink or other substances become lodged in the crevices

It came with two dents on one side and rough edges all sides that I have to file it down before hurt my hand.
