After a long search I ordered two of these for a small room that I have converted into a second bedroom. There was little space but I still wish there were bedside tables and lamps on either side of the bed. I actually have one of these in darker wood in my own upstairs bedroom and I really liked it and never had a problem with it so ended up thinking they would be perfect for the limited space in my spare room as well. I am a 60 year old female with some mechanical ability. The first took me just under an hour to assemble, from opening the box and sorting through the parts over a glass of wine to tightening the last screw, inserting the bulb and turning on the power. The instructions are of course very confusing, but still quite simple if you can only refer to the diagrams. The second took less than 35 minutes and a second glass of wine with just a few glances at the instructions. The natural color of the wood is beautiful and I am very happy with it. The box arrived undamaged, all parts are intact. I will definitely recommend these lamps to my friends.
