Between my house and family we have 8 of these in use and even the cop in the china shop (me) only managed to break 1 out of 8, using 3 of them daily on multiple machines/sites and having another one on the computer . I used this with my relatively light 17" Asus laptop with scars. Laptop cannot be moved from table to lap. Luckily the laptop was not damaged. Before that would have I gave it 4 stars, the fans screamed sometimes, otherwise it was great.

Works great so far and very quiet. I was actually getting burns from higher intensity games on my laptop, I should have gotten this a long time ago. I didn't use the USB ports on the tablet, but that's nice since my laptop only has 2 USB ports. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because some of the lights on the fans have gone out. The fans themselves work well, but it's easier to tell if they're running by looking at the lights.

You can cool your laptop better by vigorously waving a single blade of grass in a general direction across the room. Literally anything cools better than something that literally doesn't cool.
