Everything worked right out of the box. No problem. I use them from computer to phone for charging, usb charger to phone, car usb to phone and portable power bank to phone. Use them with the iPad too. No problems with any of them from any unit. The white cables are a bit thicker than the standard 'phone-on' cable that comes with the box, making it more durable and less flexible (it's a good thing the cable doesn't flex that much anyway). I buy a lot of cables because I hate looking for cables and have bought a lot of unopened ones but even my son who doesn't like cables loves them as there weren't any issues and we didn't have to throw one out due to no charging or connection issues + In my book! I liked them so much that I immediately ordered another pack today!
