I have mixed feelings about this mosquito net. I needed a ladder and tools for the installation as it had to be suspended from the ceiling in several places. The size of the tent itself was reasonable but the strings were short for what I needed. I found that like most mosquito tents, I was quite warm inside and often couldn't sleep due to the lack of breathability (I'm well aware that smaller openings require more material). Sometimes I've slept without it (bathed in toxic repellent) and risked the consequences because I was so tired I had to sleep without extra warmth, which kind of negates the purchase. Doors are a big problem for me. It is impossible to tie them in such a way that they isolate intruders and do not damage the tent. Yes I see mosquitoes on my web when I wake up so it really helps with the damage but the doors and lack of weight at the bottom of the tent allow some visitors in. Stealthfinches, geckos, tropical centipedes and scorpions can still invade. Mosquitoes can do the same if you don't watch out for entrance and exit doors and make sure everything is tucked tightly under the mattress. So I'm on the brink. I think I'll experiment with my own design and edges to get what I'm looking for which is functionality rather than luxury or looks. Doors together at one of their edges. I then attached them to the roll and undid the clips (to make them stick even more). Did this from both side entrances and only used one side for access. This seals the tent, but it's annoying having to unzip, unfold, get in and out, roll up and close every time I want to get in or out. It also requires a flashlight to keep me from tripping and ripping the web (which ironically attracts mosquitoes and other night creatures). The clips did not damage the mesh due to their black finish and light weight, however the mesh seems to stretch a bit from rolling. Also, over time, the loops holding the straps at the corners tore the tent apart, leaving round holes. I used repair tape. I covered all the snags that happened to the main body of the tent with white exterior tape (patched in the same place inside and out). The tiny network patches that came with the tent didn't help much. I'm leaving the review as is and just posting an update on how I solved the door leaf security issue. I hope the update helps anyone who needs to fix their doors.
