It will be a very good gift, even for yourself.

This carafe is really beautiful and works! I actually bought this for myself as a birthday present (along with a 2004 Barolo, yum) and was so happy with how well it worked that I went out and bought the last bottle of Barolo they had. Also, I didn't break it, cheers for me! So if you're looking for a carafe that offers ventilation and support at the same time, feels good in the hand and doesn't drip when pouring, then this is the carafe for you. Enjoy drinking, entertaining, etc.
