Review on Adjustable Laptop Stand by Allsop πŸ–₯️ Redmond - Vented Curved Metal Ergonomic Riser by Roger Weinmunson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks good but has issues

I use this as a laptop stand, fully horizontal with a full size keyboard and mouse underneath. Pros: 1.5 inch height is perfect for me 2. Great aesthetics: The tray is almost the size of my 16" MacBook Pro and the curved legs look great 3. Minimum: Most of what you can see are legs and little ones Rubber Skids 4. Sturdy enough: keeps the laptop steady while I'm typing on the keyboard below Issues: 1. Curved edge of the tray The unit arrived with a 1/2" bend at the corner of the tablet ledge. Normally I would go for it not deducting points but when I see it mentioned in other reviews I believe it is a packaging issue 2. Bent leg Aesthetically this is a nicely designed product however when executed one of the legs was slightly bent , so I kept noticing it and affecting the effect 3. The tray isn't adjustable I was hoping that I could extend the top 1-2" shelf to get a little more legroom for my keyboard. I h old the tray horizontally and use the full size keyboard underneath on my desk. There is only one hole on each leg to attach the tray to. Although there is almost enough space, I would have to pull out a cordless drill to add another hole so I can place the tray where I want. Since [1] and [2] were already in game, I decided to return them instead.

Pros
  • Front lip keeps laptop in place
Cons
  • Tradeable
