This vinyl paper is fantastic! It's easy to stick on and peel off when you need to reposition it. A few years ago I covered the countertop with mottled brown paper and it lasted a long time. A few days ago I noticed that it looks bad because the mouse has completely erased the pattern over the years. I was hesitant to buy a new table and try this product. The price is very attractive, so I bought two rolls. On my desk, I removed the old paper, which came off fairly easily, and set about refinishing the top. It came out beautifully. There were a couple of bubbles that I just couldn't push out so I stuck a needle through them and the air came out and you can't see where I did it. The paper wasn't wide enough to go all the way through the table so I had to use a second roll on the back. Unfortunately I couldn't match the pattern or I wouldn't have enough paper for the full length of the table. It's not very noticeable, so if I don't tell anyone, nobody will know. This is a great way to salvage a piece of furniture with a bad lid. I particularly liked that it's not a shiny material, which makes it feel more natural. I wish I had something else to cover the leftovers.
