I'm slowly expanding my collection of ink pads from the archive. I needed a purple shade and thought this shade would be the perfect match. I plan to buy a suitable refill cartridge instead of throwing the used swab in the landfill. The pad was tightly wrapped and had a lot of ink in it. I checked the date code and it was relatively recent. I stamped a few images and the ink worked as it should. This is a permanent ink and will not wash off with water like some inks. The lid fits well and snugly so I don't have to worry about the pad drying out. I will definitely be purchasing more Ranger Archival ink pads in the future. I plan to use them on mixed media projects where I want to make sure my ink doesn't bleed.
