***** 5 stars ***** This is an update from 2015 (also 5 stars): I have had two of these flashlights for over 2 years now and despite daily use, you are not only bulletproof but also the best all-purpose lighters I have ever owned or seen. Yes, they're too big for a pocket, but that's because they're full of butane. Among many functions: You can use it to light the largest BBQ or campfire, or a house full of candles, or to make or attach decorations (it works great on both gold and silver wire - the flame is easily adjustable and the Mini Jet has a fold-out support base for hands-free use.) Or just flip the switch and use it like a cigarette lighter and it behaves like a regular Bic lighter. I've done all of this with my Mini Jets and more (like long hikes where I've NEVER had to worry about lighting a stove or starting a fire). The seals seem nearly perfect: a full charge of butane lasts for weeks even with daily use - no leaks or fumes. Is this the perfect butane firestick? YES, and for less than $10. But one final note: this is more of a tool (torch) lighter than a regular lighter - the butane stays on until you manually turn it off. Very convenient for me, but perhaps dangerous for the unwary.
