Let me first say that the design is adorable, especially if you are a dog lover like me. The handles are velvety soft, but only close with a stitch, so I would never put anything too heavy like water bottles or cans in them. There are no extra pockets inside that he needs. I would never have bought it if it wasn't for the Disney dog design. Dooney & Bourke has the same design for the bag line, but you pay a lot more on Ebay and elsewhere as the expensive bag has sold out and the site sells a lot more, so it's a good deal for the design alone.
