Review on πŸ’¨ Pneumatic Air-Powered Pencil Grinder Tool by Seth Damain

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works better than expected - lost a star due to illegible instructions

I didn't give 5 stars because the instructions are in a foreign language that I can't read. However, there are good guides on YouTube to answer your questions. In addition, it is not specified which PSI value is maximum. Others running at 70,000 RPM use pressures of up to 90 psi. I use it for wood and find that 60-80 works well so I haven't even tried up to 90psi. The supplied fitting does not match my air. Accessories, but we had extra parts so it wasn't a huge issue for us - but you have to know, and most cheap ones don't come with the right fittings. It also doesn't come with an air regulator. You can buy it online or install it on your compressor, but you need it. Due to shipping restrictions they cannot include an oil bottle and there are no English instructions telling you how to do this. Try YouTube. I assume most of them work the same way. It comes with two colettes. I needed an even smaller one so I used one from my Dremel and it worked. For smaller items I use 1/16 and this is not included. Before changing the nozzle, be sure to turn off the air supply on the hose, not on the handpiece. Make sure you hold the pin when you turn on the air. Now for my performance review - to be honest, I didn't expect much from it and was pleasantly surprised. It is excellent. Having received it yesterday and played with it a bit at a power carving meet last night I have no idea of its durability but I think if you handle it carefully and don't use too much PSI it should last for a while. Time. . Keep it oiled (again no idea how often you need to oil it). Overall I think it was a good purchase. My friends liked it and they want to buy it too. Having had a chance to dig deeper into this if needed I'll update my review but for now I like it.
