Review on AKRacing California Gaming Chair Laguna Sports & Fitness and Leisure Sports & Game Room by Edgar Rowe

The chair could be perfect but there are two main problems

I was excited to try this chair after reading reviews saying it was suitable for smaller people. There were a few positive points when receiving the chair: The quality is great! It's a heavy steel frame. the color was good. Armrests are adjustable. Last but not least, the upholstery itself also proved to be of high quality. Unfortunately there are two main issues with this chair which is why we sent it back. If these questions don't apply to you, then this chair would be great. however, other customers have expressed the same concerns. First, the chair itself doesn't adjust to a low enough height for short people. I'm 5ft 2ft and on the lowest setting my legs still dangled which is not ergonomic. Yes, it might be fixable with a footrest, but after a $350 chair, I don't feel a buyer would need to spend more money to make it work, especially if it's intended for smaller people. Second - this was the biggest problem for me personally and the reason for the review. The width of the chair is only 15 inches. We know body types are different, but this chair was designed for hipless and hipless bodies. It's not so much about the weight as it is about the body type. This chair would be more suited to a teenager/student with a straight build across the width of the seat. The seat itself was comfortable to cushion, but due to the very narrow width, portions of my legs rested on the slanted portions, which was downright uncomfortable. Feet would touch the ground, and the width could accommodate bodies with any hips. and if that were the case, we would keep the chair. So if you're taller and don't have hips/straight build then this would be a great chair, but if you're under 5ft 2" and/or have hips or thighs then this chair doesn't work A for Effort/Concept C for Performance for short people and/or people with hips
