These were the cheapest HDMI cables I could find at Revain. You get what you pay for here. One of them was practically dead on arrival (worked for the entire episode of Gotham and then zilch. Nothing. Nada.) although the other two worked fine. In my opinion, getting a fancy cable isn't that important since they all transfer data at the same speed. You can't go wrong if you just need to hook up a laptop or gaming rig. For those of you who like to have HDMI cables handy just in case; or for those of you who regularly move cords with your entertainment device, I advise you to buy them now. For long, permanent home theater installations, I would NOT recommend you buy these. Use thick shielded cables instead. Don't fall for the "High Speed" scam.
