Review on The Ultimate IFR Tri-Fold Kneeboard: Organize Your Flight Charts and Keep Them Secure by Kory Shelton

practical organizer for the flight

This knee brace is very practical for storing important things during the flight. The middle pocket contains an aluminum notepad, a map pocket on the right and 2 large pockets on the left. I keep my home airport A/FD in my map pocket for easy access to information, E6B and aircraft checklist in 2 left pockets. Note sheets (ATIS or ATC) and other cheat sheets remain on the clipboard. Some users complain that the map pocket is too short for the cut. But I think the longer version will make it difficult for people under 6ft to fly. The materials and seams make a hard-wearing impression. I wish the elastic strap on the cloth cover could be removed and used on the clipboard if one decides to keep it simple and less bulky. In general, it is a good companion for pilots.
