Review on Dorman EGR Valve 904-219 for Ford Models - Optimize Engine Performance by Brian Hrdlicka
3 weeks to failure!
Unable to contact the customer so must write a review in the hope that they will respond. Bought on July 27, 2016, put it on a shelf in my office when needed. Before a 460 mile trip to California on September 3rd I installed this EGR valve. Worked great, no problems. I received a P0405 DTC a week ago. I cleaned the valve, reset the error code, today the error came back. Obviously the valve coil is defective. Worked for 3 weeks and then broke. I want the company to replace it and give me a chance to try a different valve. I will let you know when they reply to this message. Not a happy tourist at the moment.
