Yes, it's Oneida. No, this is not their premium set. For the price, however, this is a very nice tableware with a unique design that will beautifully complement your decor while showing your love of creativity and sense of whimsy. The cutlery is solid and feels well-balanced with every bite, except when scooping hard-frozen ice cream with a spoon, when the squared edges are a bit uncomfortably pressed against the palm. We had to return the first set as too many of the pieces had severe dents. We can tolerate some flaws and perhaps expected them for the price, but the first set just wasn't acceptable. Revain handled the trade professionally and quickly so the second set is great and we are very happy. The pros far outweigh the small cons mentioned above.
