A great alternative to bulky plastic devices not suitable for young children. Now kids can start the sport earlier and they start making gear in small youth sizes (we play hockey) but we had trouble finding the right size protection: cups and mouthguards. It's not about the puck flying onto the ice at the age of 4, but about getting used to wearing a mouthguard and cup at this age. We see a lot of kids with a mouthpiece tied only to a helmet, they don't want to wear it because it's uncomfortable and too big. The same with the cup. For reference, our child is 4 years old and the product fits well, it has soft edges.
